As a global food company, we are committed to doing the right thing by our customers, consumers, and community. Our partnership with Rise Against Hunger has been in place for over 10 years and we will continue to support the incredible cause that they champion. The Kraft Heinz Company engage in volunteer meal packing events with Rise Against Hunger and donate micronutrient powders to help feed people in need around the world.

In Australia and New Zealand, we are committed to giving back to the communities that we operate in through our long-standing partnerships with charity organisations, including Foodbank Australia, Salvation Army, Nourished for Nil and Plunket. Our employees can also use volunteer days to participate in giving back and supporting our communities.

For over 20 years Heinz have partnered closely with Foodbank Australia to donate products to Australians in need and to volunteer our time and resources. In 2021, we donated the equivalent of 1.29 million meals to Foodbank Australia to help support people experiencing hardship.

Since the Wattie’s and Salvation Army partnership began in 1994 in New Zealand, over 1.5 million cans of food have been donated through various campaigns, and we will continue this partnership for years to come.

In 2022, Heinz launched its Pantry Store in Altona, Victoria Australia. This shop is available to the general public and redirects unsold products away from landfill, thus reducing waste while sharing our delicious products with employees, local residents and community organisations at discounted prices.
