Spanish Cottage Pie with Chorizo


  • 2 x 420g HEINZ Creationz Spanish-style Mixed Beans with Chorizo

  • 1½ cups HEINZ Peas, Corn & Capsicum frozen vegetables 


  • 4 potatoes, cooked and mashed

  • 20g butter

  • ½ cup warm milk

  • ½ cup grated tasty cheese


  1. Step 1

    Heat HEINZ Creationz Spanish Beans in a saucepan until hot and add frozen vegetables. When hot, transfer beans into a 1litre capacity greased ovenproof dish.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare mash; add butter, warm milk, and a good pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to hot potatoes and mash until smooth with no lumps.

  3. Step 3

    Top pie with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a pre-heated oven of 180C for 25 minutes, or until golden. Serve hot.
