Jennies Family Beef Beanz Nachos


  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 500g minced beef

  • 30g packet Taco Spice Mix

  • 200ml water

  • 300g can HEINZ BEANZ in Tomato Sauce

  • 250g packet corn chips

  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese

  • 300ml light sour cream

For the Guacamole:

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion

  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

  • 1 tsp lime or lemon juice

  • ½ tsp salt


  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 200C

  2. Step 2

    Prepare guacamole; place ingredients in a small bowl and mash using a fork. Set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Heat oil in a frypan and saute onion for 3 minutes until soft. Add minced beef and cook for 4 minutes or until browned. Add HEINZ BEANZ in Tomato Sauce and mix through. Cook for 2 minutes then remove from heat.

  4. Step 4

    Place 1/3 of the packet of corn chips in a ceramic ovenproof dish and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat in layers until all the chips and cheese are used. Place nachos in a preheated oven of 200C for 7 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    To serve: spoon beef and beanz mixture over cooked nachos and serve hot with guacamole and sour cream.
